Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I’m a just a girl like every other girl in the world…but I have a great passion: Cosplaying!

My passion started in the early 2003 when I went to Lucca Comics & Games and I saw some people dressed as videogames characters. In 2004 I decided to go back to Lucca with the Cosplay of Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII : I realized a dream! From that day I discovered a new world full of friends and fun. Today I have more than 21 costumes, all made by me (I’m good at crafting objects rather than tailoring, so I often ask for my mother’s help).. and my passion grows day after day.

In 2008 I won the first award as Cosplay Queen during Cartoomics together with my bestfriend: Alessio. During the same year, with my group of Reyarth, I won the Magic KnightS Award!

Dion Rinoa - Dion RogersAnd, during Lucca Comics 2008, I won an award as "Best Fantasy Costume" with my Paladin Bloodelf Cosplay (Tier 2) set improved For Lucca Comics, we've been hired by Upper Deck Italy: a famous society which produces Yu-Gi-Oh and World of Warcraft cards, in order to become their "images" by standing inside the games area of the convention.

Apart from Cosplaying, I love drawing, paiting and travelling. I think that one of the best thing we can do in our life is to travel around the world and make new experiences. I actually work as webdesigner for an agency here in Palermo, but I work as freelance too. I enjoy very much making websites.. so if you need one, don't hesitate asking me! Lately I listen to every kind of music. I loke Rock, such as Paparoach, Nickelback and so on.. My favourite color is pink, but I love also purple and black. I think it's enough.
